Jeremy Scott is stepping down as a creative director of Moschino after a decade long reign. The 47-year old designer succeeded Rossella Jardini, who held the creative director title for almost two decades prior to Scott. Jardini was also the first one stepping in following the death of the brand’s founder, Franco Moschino.
“These past 10 years at Moschino have been a wonderful celebration of creativity and imagination. I am so proud of the legacy I am leaving behind. I would like to thank Massimo Ferretti for the honor of leading this iconic house,” said Jeremy Scott in the release. “[I] would also like to thank all of my fans around the world who celebrated me, my collections, and my vision for without you none of this would be possible.”

Under Scott’s guidance, the house has seen some of its most iconic moments. In 2018 Moschino teamed up for one of H&M famous high-end designer collaborations. Year later, the house participated in Met Gala Camp exhibition with some of the best, most memorable looks of the event. During Scott’s time as a Creative Director, Moschino also dressed Katy Perry on her Prismatic World Tour.
Scott presented us his last collection in February ’23 during Milan Fashion Week. And he didn’t disappoint. Old factory set, colourful, playful & over the top designs yet very wearable at the same time. It truly was one of his best work. The grand finale. Even though the whole collection was carried in a punk theme, he made sure to still play on the brand’s humouristic, novelty roots.
