If you don’t know who Edward Enninful is, you must have been living under a rock the past seven years. The editor-in-chief of British Vogue took his post in 2017 and did what can be only described as a whole one-eighty with the magazine. He brought a breath of fresh air, creativity and the very much needed inclusion. We don’t want to claim he changed the magazine, as there is still a long way to go (if you know, you know). However, there is no doubt he definitely got the ball rolling during his reign – to say for the least.
“With just seven issues left at @BritishVogue, I would love to know which issue was your favourite. March 2024 is my last @BritishVogue as EIC so set your clocks,” said Enningful in his last year’s resignation announcement via an Instagram post. “With my final issues I’m in planning mode for sure with lots on my mind. The power of brilliant global change makers! The unbeatable creativity of the UK! And above all FASHION! More than anything, I am just so excited for what is still to come in the next seven months.”
With the March 2024 cover being his last (and the creative genius that he is), let’s have a look at our top ten Vogue covers created under the supervision of the one and only Edward Enninful.
