Emmy Awards Red Carpet Looks: The Best of 2026

Emmy Awards red carpet looks delivered a compelling mix of classic Hollywood glamour, contemporary couture and unexpected moments as television’s biggest stars arrived at Los Angeles’s Peacock Theater. The 78th Emmy Awards brought together some of the industry’s most celebrated names, with the red carpet moments getting nearly as much attention as the ceremony itself.

There was a particular elegance to this year’s fashion. Classic silhouettes were given contemporary treatment, with column gowns, refined tailoring and delicate embellishment dominating the evening. Yet there were still moments of extravaganza, proving that the Emmys red carpet still has plenty of room for fashion fantasy.

The Standout Emmy Awards Red Carpet Looks

Zendaya once again showed us why she remains one of the industry’s most compelling fashion icons, arriving in a custom crystal and pearl-encrusted Prada gown styled with stunning Mikimoto jewellery. The look combined Old Hollywood glamour with a distinctly modern sensuality, making it one of the evening’s most talked-about appearances.

Selena Gomez embraced full evening glamour in a gilded Louis Vuitton column gown, while Elle Fanning took a softer approach in a mint-green Ralph Lauren Collection slip dress. Sarah Pidgeon offered a particularly refined interpretation of 1990s minimalism in a lilac Chanel slip dress finished with pearl embroidery.

Nicole Kidman represented Chanel in an elegant look, while Ayo Edebiri‘s look reinforced the strong presence of Matthieu Blazy’s Chanel on the evening. Grace Gummer made an appearance in Dior, and Carey Mulligan opted for The Row, offering a more understated take on awards-season dressing.

A New Take on Hollywood Glamour

The men’s red carpet proved equally considered. Colman Domingo continued his reign as one of Hollywood’s most distinctive menswear dressers in Valentino, while Alan Cumming delivered a sharply executed black-and-white embroidered tuxedo.

Last but not least, we must not forget Meg Stalter, who abandoned conventional red-carpet dressing entirely. The Hacks star arrived transformed into a golden Emmy statuette, complete with gold body paint, wings and a spherical accessory. It was theatrical, humorous and entirely in keeping with the spirit of an evening celebrating television. Iconic move.

Ultimately, the Emmy Awards red carpet looks of 2026 demonstrated that awards-season fashion does not need to choose between elegance and experimentation. From Zendaya’s dazzling Prada moment to the quiet sophistication of The Row and Ralph Lauren, the evening offered a diverse interpretation of modern glamour. In other works, a proof that the red carpet remains one of fashion’s most compelling stages.
