BAFTAs 2023 was yet another event full of fashion’s best of the best. And film and television as well, of course. But that’s not the main topic here today. Although it has been an eventful spring so far, our favourite A-listers still have more fashion aces down their sleeves.
less is more
This year we saw plenty of clean, simple(ish) looks on the red carpet. From Sheila Atim in metallic Prada though Lashana Lynch in Fendi Couture, Anya Taylor-Joy in Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Michelle Yeoh in Dior to Emma Thompson in Laura Pitharas. And these are just a fraction of all the extraordinary red carpet looks. This year celebrities have showed us that less is definitely more in most cases and fully embraced the class and sophistication that comes along with clean designs.

Last but not least, we must not forget the male attendees. We have been blessed with some extraordinary looks from the men’s section as well. Among our favourite red carpet looks from this year’s BAFTAs are Eddie Redmayne in Alexander McQueen, Ke Huy Quan in Giorgio Armani, Jamie Dornan in Valentino, Regé-Jean Page in Giorgio Armani and Rami Malek in Prada. That being said, there’s no doubt the competition (if i can even be called like that) was very high and from what we saw, the film and TV stars definitely understood the assignment. A very special shout out when it comes to the BAFTAs 2023 red carpet magic goes to the Prince and Princess of Wales, who stole the show looking stunning as ever.
