Coachella is no doubt one of the most scrutinised music festival in the world. Not only we get to see some of the world’s top artist perform, get a chance to bump into some celebrities, but it has become THE festival of the year when it comes to fashion. Influencers and celebrities are preparing their outfits weeks ahead of the festival, brands work on their Coachella PR list months in advance, and it is, without a doubt, the most talked about topic of the week.
It is for that very reason we wanted to have a look at this year’s Coachella outfits. The Californian festival had its “golden years” around 2015-2018 when boohoo looks were everywhere, Tumblr and WeHeartIt was the bread and butter of every teenage girl obsessing over the ‘King Kylie’ era, and festival fashion was the trend of the moment. During those years Coachella, or any festival for that matter, was swarming in over-the-top-yet-on-point boohoo looks. The mantra was very clear. The bigger the better.
sustainability is the new sexy
Even though times have changes and latest minimalist fashion trends took over, there were still plenty of beautiful looks that are definitely worth talking about. Yes, we know, we miss the “old” looks too, but let’s look at the pros here. The “new” Coachella looks are definitely more wearable, which makes them much more versatile and easier to re-style and incorporate into your everyday outfits. And that we are all here for. Sustainability is the new sexy. Beside that going a bit more minimalistic with outfits brings us another advantage – comfort. After all, you are spending the entire day out in a hot Californian desert. Without further due, let’s have a look at some of the best 2023 Coachella looks.
