aka Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake…if you know, you know
Denim has always been one of the classiest fabrics out there. It’s stylish, it’s classy and most importantly, it’s timeless. It can be easily dressed up or down, looks good on anyone and if chosen well, can last you a lifetime. Although denim clothes are more considered to be a casual thing, many celebrities have proved us that it can make it all the way to the red carpet.
What we love about denim the most is the versatility. Not necessarily as to the fact that it goes literally with anything, although that is correct as well. But more so that anyone can pull it off no matter what your personal fashion style or taste is (as opposed to other fabrics, such as leather). Think of it as a “chameleon” kind of material – it adjust to your style, not the other way around.
denim & maxi lengths – a match made in heaven
That being said, this year truly is denim’s moment to shine with a few staples having “broken the internet” already. And we’re only in March. Maxi lengths is the answer – denim maxi skirts and maxi dresses have been the number one trend of the season. TikTok went wild over THE Zara denim dress, Instagram has been flooded with outfits and styling tips on denim maxi skirts. Similar goes for full length jeans.
Denim hasn’t been overlooked on runways either. Some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, such as Givenchy, Burberry, Altuzarra, Stefan Cooke, Masha Popova and many more, made sure not to forget to include this trending fabric in their SS23 collections. Just in time for us for the upcoming season. Without further due, let’s move to some denim inspiration for you to shine this upcoming season.
