Halloween costumes can be a very tricky task for the vast majority. On one hand, you want to make sure you are dressed up enough so people recognise your look, on the other, you don’t want to spend too much time (and money) on something you will wear one night and most likely never again. That is why we gathered some Halloween costume ideas that are very low-effort, won’t break the bank, but are still spot on.
Easy A
Starting off with one of the easiest ones. All you need is a black corset top and a pair of sunglasses. You will, of course, need a red letter ‘A’, too. You can either buy a sticker or just cut one out of a piece of paper and stick it on your top. Yep, that’s it, job done.
Ross & Rachel
The easiest couples costume o ALL TIME. All you need is a black marker (just make sure it’s removable). If you want to go the extra mile, throw in a khaki shirt for Ross and a black long sleeve top for Rachel, and you are all done.
Wednesday Addams
This one is all about makeup because as to attire, all you need to do is to grab one of your white shirts and tuck it under a black mini dress (preferably long sleeved). Alternatively opt for a black mini skirt and a black long sleeve jumper. You can also add a tie as a cherry on top. Then you will just need to add black tights and black loafers or ankle boots and here you go. Just don’t forget to braid your hair and add a smokey eye.
Vampire
Just like with Wednesday Addams, this one is all about makeup too. Black mini dress with some knee high boots and mesh tights will do the trick, then add a pale base, smokey eye, red lips and don’t forget some blood stains.
Cat woman
Yes, this one can be low-effort too. There is no need to get a full cat woman costume. Just wear a tight long sleeve top with skinny jeans (or even a leather skirt) and you’re set. Of course, add a pair of cat ears and a mask.
Charlie’s Angels
One of the best low-effort costumes for a trio, wear all black attire with a black leather jacket on top and there you have it, use coloured hairspray or wigs as a final touch if you need to and viola, Halloween costume sorted.
Sandy from Grease
Black crop top, leggings or skinny jeans, black leather jacket with some red heels and you’re done. Just don’t forget to curl your hair (in case your hair is not already curly) and you’re set.
