Oversized blazers have been in the spotlight for a couple of years now. They have risen back to fame around five years ago and are definitely not going anywhere. Although apparently, Gen Z might disagree, according to TikTok. Born in the 90s they have come back to fashion together with crop tops, oversized shirts, and mum jeans. There have been some talks about oversized blazers not being fashionable anymore as Gen Z is now more interested in 2yk fashion, however, we have seen some of the Gen Z IT girls absolutely rocking this piece, so it is safe to say there are here to stay. Yes, we are thinking Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Addison Rae, or Jenna Ortega.

There are plenty of reasons why we love this staple piece so much. It’s adding an edgy twist to what is normally considered a very smart look. It is extremely versatile and can be very easily dressed up or down, making it a perfect choice for evening looks as well as casual Sunday walks. Besides that, it is a perfect transitional piece between seasons for those times, when it is too cold for only a tank top but too warm for jackets. They can be worn as outerwear, layered over a top and under a jacket, or worn as a dress with only shorts underneath. Or even just on its own (if it is long enough, of course).
