Prada AW23 ready-to-wear: MFW’23

Prada AW23 collection presented us with, once again, some of Raf Simons’ and Miuccia Prada’s best work. We must put it out there, Prada holds a very special place in our hearts. However, when it comes to autumn/winter (or fall/winter, if you wish) fashion, the fashion house is hands down one of the leading ladies here. Over the past couple of years the brand managed to reinvent themselves and truly got on top of their game.

earthy tones, maxi lengths & rekindled love of office wear

The newest collection consisted of many Prada’s signature earthy dark tones, such as charcoal grey, khaki, army green, dark brown and black. The new ready-to-wear collection also includes a number of office-wear inspired looks. We can see plenty of tailored pieces which is, what we can only assume, due to the fact that there is a big wave of people returning to offices. Same as the rekindled love of tote bags, which you can read about here.

Last but not least, the fact that midi & maxi lengths are very much “IN” this year is no secret. And it is obvious from this collection that this trend will prevail until the very end of this year (if not longer). The Prada AW23 collection is a great example of this as the runway was dominated by midi and maxi cuts. No need to worry if you are a lover of mini lengths though, there are plenty of options for you too. Without further due, let’s get to the collection itself.
