Western boots (or cowboy boots, if you wish) started gaining huge popularity during the end of 2021 and lasted through 2022. It was a bit shocking at the beginning. After all, who would have thought that a boot, which was previously seen only in films, carnivals or festivals would have become so popular? And more so, that it would become such a staple piece in our everyday wardrobe? Well, definitely not us. And even though we love this fun trend, to be completely honest with you, we didn’t think it would stick. We saw it more of a seasonal trend which would be long gone by Christmas 2022. Well, as it seems we were wrong here.
Coachella all year round?
In all honesty, we completely understand the hype about Western boots. It’s fun, it’s different and makes your outfit stand out. The V cut hem makes your calf appear slimmer and your legs longer. However, what we love the most about it is that despite it being a tall boot, it is more of a summer shoe.
Now, to keep you in the loop here, we are suckers for boots and definitely team #BootsAllYearRound. However, with tall boots it can become a bit more difficult to pull a cute summer look.
