If you are in the same boat as us, you know that finding good winter birthday outfits is a whole TASK. Obviously, we want to look cute, we want to stand out and feel special but we also live in the U.K. And that means one thing – aesthetics must meet practicality.
- All white: Nothing looks more elegant than an all-white outfit. It is very simple yet extremely chic and a perfect choice if you prefer minimalistic, simple looks. An all-white look will never fail you.
- Sparkle: If you want to really stand out on your birthday, opt for a sparkly outfit. Rhinestones, sequins, glitter – you name it. You can either sparkle up your look by going only for a small detail such as shoes, a handbag, or statement jewelry, or go full in with a head-to-toe sparkly look.
- Fur coats: Remember what we said, we need to make sure to keep warm. And (faux) fur coats are the perfect option to stay warm whilst still standing out on your day.
- Maxi dress: Maxi dresses just scream elegance and sophistication. It is a perfect option if you want to dress a little more formally on your birthday and still stay warm.
- Red details: Adding red to your look immediately brings life back to even the simplest winter birthday outfits. If you’re not a fan of red clothes per se, just opt for red nails, lipstick, or accessories such as a red handbag or footwear.
- Statement jewelry: You can wear sweatpants but once you put on that statement necklace or earrings you instantly level up. Don’t be afraid to let your imagination run wild and have some fun with your jewelry. Thick wrist cuffs are especially trendy this year.
