There is no fabric more desirable in summer fashion than linen. Whether you live in Scandinavia or the Middle East, linen is truly desired and sought after year after year during hot summer months. So let’s access this in a bit more detail, shall we.
Number one, it is one of the most breathable fabrics on the market. Even though it is similar to cotton, this fabric is more preferable due to its breathability. From the technical point of view, it is made from fibers derived from the stems of the flax plant. Cotton, on the other hand, it derived from the bolls that grow around cotton seeds. Number three, it is chic. Linen is often connected with elegance and high class. The material is often used, or has the power, to elevate otherwise quite ordinary pieces and give it that ‘quiet luxury’ feel.
