Valentino haute couture PFW’23

Valentino haute couture collection was another gem of this year’s Paris Fashion Week. Despite the cold weather, the show was as fabulous as it gets. Front rows were filled by some of the biggest names in show business, such as Anne Hathaway, Sam Smith, Ashley Park, and Doja Cat.

Pierpaolo Piccioli, the house’s creative director, once again didn’t disappoint. He took the opportunity and introduced some of Valentino’s absolute masterpieces to the world. We can see plenty of colour being incorporated in the collection, with the brand’s signature fuchsia and green dominating the runway. See, we told you green is still very much in the picture (read more here).

Piccioli included plenty of all-lace design which enhance femininity and natural beauty. We can already see that sheer pieces will be a big trend in 2023. Not only on red carpets but on the streets as well. Mini lengths also played a big part in this year’s Valentino haute couture collection, leaving us wondering whether the trend of ‘minis’ in haute couture will be coming back this year. Have a look at some of our favourite pieces from the collection.
