Winter fashion trends: Best of 2023

Winter fashion trends are somewhat always more of a big deal compared to their spring/summer siblings. Gorgeous coats, layering, stylish boots, fashionable accessories – you name it. And since the year is slowly coming to an end (but winter is just about to begin), here are some of our favourite winter trends of this season.

Faux fur coats

Faux fur made a comeback if we’ve ever seen one. Short or long, full-on faux fur, or just faux fur details. Not only does it elevate the most basic outfits, and make you look incredibly chic (and expensive) but will also keep you incredibly warm.

Cherry red everything

Cherry red being the IT colour of this year’s autumn/winter season is no surprise. This gorgeous rich shade of red brings life back to the plainest outfits. It is also a perfect choice of colour for the upcoming holidays. So if you are trying to find the perfect occasion to rock cherry red, the time is now.

Scarf coats

It started with the TOTEME coat and quickly became a significant player in the 2023 winter fashion game. Yes, we know, the TOTEME scarf jacket has been around for a couple of seasons now but it wasn’t until this year that it gained such huge popularity and earned the “winter fashion trend” label. And like with every trend, it got picked up but other brands very quickly.

Grey is the new black

Grey, being a neutral colour, has always been around, there’s no denying that. But this year it is particularly popular. Its cool tones are a perfect alternative to black if you are looking for a bit of a lighter look and it is much more practical than white. And the fact that it pairs perfectly with cherry red is just a cherry on top.

Wool pleated skirts

Pleated skirts in general but for the colder months definitely opt for the wool ones. Their signature cut suits everyone and makes them stand out as opposed to regular skirts.
