Zuhair Murad SS23 haute couture collection showed the world what dreams are made of. Hôtel Potocki in Paris was the host of this fabulous fashion show introducing us to fourty-nine new breathtaking designs. Murad’s new haute couture collection was based on embracing femininity whilst still keeping that sexy look. And we must say they definitely did a very good job. Murad himself confirmed that his main inspiration for his new collection was the glory days of the French Riviera, circa 1970s. According to the designer it was “a time of parties, beautiful celebrations, and sunset colors.”
Embellishments, embroidery, mesh, lace and feathers played were the leaders of the SS23 collection. Not only these features elevated the entire designs but combined with the cut-outs they made them look like a fairy-tale. Murad wasn’t afraid of colours either, presenting us with gorgeous gowns in every colour of the rainbow but still managing to incorporate neutral designs as well.
